Up Close n Personal: Our Happy Time

It is so nice to announce that we are 12 weeks pregnant! We are so excited to be expecting baby number 4. We really wanted to have a playmate for my youngest daughter, as my other children are teenagers now. It really wasn't the easiest decision for me. After all I am 40 years old, plus I already have 3 kids. Why another one? When it came down to it, our family just wouldn't be complete without one more child. I look forward to finding out the sex of the baby, hopefully soon. We had our 12 week scan and genetic blood tests yesterday, and all look good and healthy. We are still waiting on our blood work. It was so nice to graduate for my clinic and move onto my regular OBGYN. The clinic that I am talking about is our fertility clinic. Yes, we conceive 2 of our children via IVF. I went through 3 fresh cycles and 1 FET. FET stands for frozen egg transfer. IVF sure wasn't an easy road, but it got us to where we are right now!

I'm so comfy in my lu lu lemon pants and my H&M top today! Off to purchase some maternity clothes now.
